Choice Hotels : Book Hotels App Reviews

I prefer the browser version to the app for accessing Choice Hotels. If I want to slightly revise my location I have to enter a new location in the app. When I use a browser, I can move the map, then click on Update and it will change the hotels being shown. When Im travelling we want to look at different locations and the app isnt as flexible.

When I first started to use the app I had difficulty because the captcha didnt seem to work. Now it does and I have no problem making reservations.

App makes making reservations a snap.

Currency choice is a must on these travel apps. I did not find how to do it on this one.

Good app for travellers

This app works great for quickly and easily booking an hotel stay.

Update: the app now wont let me log in at all. Even more useless. This app is terrible. It never keeps me logged in and wont remember my username even after Ive slid the "Remember Me" slider. This wouldnt be so irritating if it had Touch ID, but despite the app notes that say it has Touch ID, I havent seen where to activate it (whereas every other app in the world will ask you once upon login and youre good to go). Aside from that, the entire app is clunky and outdated and takes too long to process every action.

"New" app is a major regression from the one I started with a few years ago. Much slower and less stable. Logs you out at the most inconvenient times. Verification pictures are sometimes near to impossible to verify (i.e., see!) Updates have improved the speed recently. Extras button still does not work. Significant organization rate code frequently needs to be cleared and re-entered in order to work. Choice Rewards is a great program with quick returns. Motel values are generally good in the north central US though trending high.

Love the App and use it a lot with little problems or issues.

If Choice Hotels cannot come up with a better way to determine that Im not a robot I am going to find a different hotel chain to do business with. I spent more time being told there is a log in problem then making a reservation. Words I have for this system log in would not be allowed.

I always book hotels through this app. It is fast, reliable, and easy to use. It also keeps up with my reward nights and how many more I need for elite status. I can even look at the map before i book to see where the hotel is. I love this app!

I liked it better when they was with Bank of America they went with Barclay I sent in for card several times but they reject me guess its my own stinking fault lol

I find this app easy and simple to use. I find it to be one of the best hotel chain apps out there. Type in your destination, dates& number of people. It gives you all of the choice hotels to choose from along with their amenities and how others rate that hotel and whether or not they would recommend. Then you choose the type of room you want with the rates. Pick the one you want and reserve your room. Then it will send you a confirmation on your reservation.

I can never get into my account because the site thinks Im a robot. Even when I choose the right answer it comes up with an error message. Its just easier to book with another hotel chain.

It is so much better than talking to someone that speaks very poorly or hardly any English
